US-Israeli military Alliance against Iran 2020

Introduction

US-Israeli military Alliance, Israel, and the US are teaming up for first-of-its-kind military cooperation on Israel’s most significant military drill ever, and it’s all about striking Iran’s nuclear facilities.“Israeli defense minister Benny Gantz stressed the importance of dealing with Iran. Iran continues accumulating irreversible knowledge and experience in developing, researching, producing, and operating advanced centrifuges. It is just a few weeks away from accumulating fissile material sufficient for a first bomb”.

Iranian nuclear threat

Israel plans a large-scale military drill practicing a potential attack Iranian nuclear facility. An Israeli media report said the incoming US military commander in this region was also in Israel for the first time discussing the Iranian nuclear threat with the Israeli army chiefs. Exercises are set to occur over the Mediterranean Sea as part of the ongoing Chariots of Fire military drill. The US air force is also expected to participate in a move that many say sends a message to Iran.

China -Russia Support

Washington officials said that after more than a year of negotiating an updated Iran nuclear deal, it’s time to consider military action against the access of evil that includes China and Russia. Meanwhile, as sanctions continue to squeeze Iran, Khumanie says recent protests go beyond economic woes. They quickly turned political, with people on the streets of Iran, the threat of their own lives, chanting the death of Khamenei.

Israeli leaders insist they will not allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon. For years the overshadowing question has been whether Israel would take pre-emptive action to destroy the regime`s nuclear program. In 2012 Yuck of Katz, now the editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post, served as the paper`s defense analyst. He is the co-author of Israel versus Iran’s “ The Shadow War” he examined the potential for an attack on Iran`s nuclear program.

Iran`s nuclear program

“ An attack on Iran`s nuclear program, it seemed at the time that Israel could do it. I distinctly remember one meeting I was brought into at the Air Force headquarters in Tel Aviv with the top Air Force general who laid a map on a table and showed whom the Israeli Air Force squadrons would fly Iran when Israel prepared night and day.

The Air Force had been training extensively for this operation. Billions and billions of shekels had been poured into this planning, training, and buying of the munitions and the technology weapons needed to take out some of the facilities. Now ten years later, the problem and target remain the same Natanz Iran`s Uranium enrichment facility for dough with the thousands of centrifuges burrowed into a mountain to the west, a rock where a heavy water Plutonium facility is under construction, and further south, Iran’s Uranium conversion facilities.

US and Israel’s new military strategy. The signs are looking ominous. Iran is threatening to walk out of the nuclear deal. Iran and Israel share a long history of conflict; however, they’ve never fought a war. It has always been a shadow conflict like proxy attacks and cyber attacks. It`s always been cloak and dagger. Israel is accusing Iran of one such strategy of targeting Israeli citizens abroad.

The first warning was about turkey. Israel’s citizens were asked to avoid visiting Turkey. There were reports of plots to assassinate Israelis in Turkey, but Turkey tried to downplay all such messages. The prime minister of Israel says, “We are currently witnessing Iranian attempts to Israelis in various overseas locations. The security services of Israel are working to thwart attempted attacks before they are launched. We will continue to strike those who send the terrorists and those who send them”.

Iran Missiles test

Iran`s military tested its new attack drones in the coastal area of the Gulf of Oman and near the strategic strait of Hormuz. State TV said the Ababil-5 attack drones were used for the first time during wargames and successfully hit their target with a bomb.

The Ababil-5 has a range of about 480 km and is armed with a Qaem bomb and four Diamond-2 air-to-air missiles with a range of roughly 8 km. The “Zolfaghar –1401″ drill saw participation from commandos, airborne infantry, fighter jets, helicopters, and submarines. The essential point is that the Strait of Hormuz is crucial to global energy supplies as about a fifth of all oil traded at sea passes through it, and the exercises done by Iran would be a significant threat to the world.

Role of IAEA

A nuclear-threshold state is a country that possesses both the technical capabilities and fissile material needed to make a nuclear weapon. The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) suspects Iran conducted past military activities that taught it about technical nuclear capabilities (i.e., how to build warheads using fissile material). In addition, the country’s stockpile of fissile material has increased since the United States’ withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) in May 2018, particularly throughout 2021 and 2022. It now has enough fissile material to build a bomb, although more enrichment would be necessary to create a modern nuclear weapon. These points indicate that Iran is on the precipice of becoming a nuclear-threshold state if it is not already.
